Friday night sees the inauguration of the long awaited first annual Cell Olympic Spectacular, with the cell groups battling for supremacy over cell land! If you are not yet in a cell but would like to be, this is your chance to find out which is the best!

There will then be sleepover fun times, with potentially films/video games on the big screen, sardines, hot chocolate and other lovely/cool things.

Saturday afternoon, when we’ve all recovered, we will meet back at Woody for our Xodus guys and girls day. Meeting in separate sessions at 1pm we will have teaching, worship, ministry and social times in the afternoon, then all meet back together in the evening at 7pm for a joint time of worship and ministry.

Youth Alpha begins at the same time this week, with the first session “Who is Jesus?”

Both courses promise a short talk and time to discuss the topic, ask questions, make friends and eat good free food!

THE VISION

All over the world, nations are shaking. Politically, economically, socially, environmentally.

A visible statement of faith.

7:14 is a vision to see ALL of God’s people released and empowered to rise up and make a difference.
To see the WHOLE Church, young and old, come together to pray for our nations and leaders.

No stage, no mics, no brands, no speaker. Just the people of God in one place at one time, with the healing of lands on their hearts.

The world is on the streets right now, rising up for change.
It’s time the Church was too, proclaiming Jesus Christ is Lord!

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

THE HOUR

7:14pm – 8:14pm
The Hayes, outside Cardiff Central Library

We will come from all over, all streams and all ages, carrying candles and lights of all kinds. There’ll be singing and silence, worship and witness, corporate acts and complete freedom.

A beautiful image of what the church is called to be. A visible sign of what the church is called to do.

Yet within that hour, EVERY CITY will be united at set points in simultaneous acts of corporate worship:
The Lord’s Prayer / Kneeling / Singing / Breaking Bread

Indeed our breaking bread together will be our greatest witness to hope.
Christ’s Broken Body for a broken world.

SIMULTANTEOUS ACTS OF CORPORATE WORSHIP:
7.14 – ALL lift voices together in prayer
7.30 – ALL say The Lord’s Prayer
7.45 – ALL sing ‘How great is our God’
8.00 – ALL kneel for one minute in silence
8.01 – ALL rise and break bread together
8.14 – ALL sing ‘Amazing Grace’ to finish
